1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Chemistry Solver AI ("Company", "we", "us") governing your use of the Chemistry Solver AI iOS application ("App").

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on Apple devices that you own or control.
• Access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

This license does not permit you to: resell the App, reverse-engineer its source code, remove proprietary notices, or use the App to build a competing product.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Premium"). All purchases and subscription management are processed through Apple's App Store under Apple's terms and conditions.

• Free tier: Limited number of chemistry problem solves per day without a subscription.
• Premium: Unlimited solves, access to full step-by-step solutions, and additional features. Pricing is displayed in the App before purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple. We do not issue refunds directly.
• Restore purchases: Use the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings to recover an active subscription on a new device.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, paywall systems, or rate-limiting mechanisms.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to interact with the App.
• Use AI-generated solutions to commit academic fraud, plagiarism, or exam cheating.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or backend systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Chemistry Solver AI uses artificial intelligence to generate solutions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated answers may contain errors and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional scientific or medical advice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any AI output.
• You should always verify solutions independently, especially for high-stakes academic or professional work.
• The App is intended for educational assistance, not as an authoritative scientific reference.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and other materials in the App are owned by or licensed to Chemistry Solver AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the chemistry problem images you submit. By submitting images, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process them solely for the purpose of generating a solution for you. We do not claim ownership over your submitted content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEMISTRY SOLVER AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or our interests.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
